Derek was born and raised in the Castlegar and Nelson area and started selling real estate by the age of 21. He was the manager of a successful Real Estate office by the age of 23. He purchased Century 21 Mountainview Realty in 2000 and was the Owner and Broker of 4 Century 21 offices throughout the West Kootenays, until he sold in 2021.
Derek now focuses on providing exceptional service to his clients.
In addition to being a high-producing agent, Derek trained many Top Producing agents over the 21 years to ensure their service, knowledge and customer satisfaction exceeds their clients expectations.
Throughout the years, Derek has attained many prestigious awards including the Century 21 Centurion award as well as the Century 21 Master's Hall of Fame. Derek was also nominated by Century 21 Canada as one of the top 15 Brokers out of nearly 300 offices in Canada... 2 years in a row.
